Relief Print
This is a limited edition, original piece of art hand-printed by the artist! Each relief print is hand-carved from a piece of wood or linoleum which is called “the plate”. Ink is then rolled onto the raised surfaces of the plate. Paper is placed on top of the plate and an impression is made by applying pressure to transfer the ink. Each impression varies slightly due to the nature of how the art is created resulting in a truly unique piece of art!
Black Calligo ink on Japanese paper.
It comes to you with a rigid card backer in a protective sleeve signed by the artist.
Frame not included
Image area is 6" x 6" with signature
Paper size is 10" x 10" and will fit in a standard frame without a matt.
