Red Fishing Lure "Dardevle"

The red and white striped “Dardevle” is probably the worlds most recognized fishing lure. Created more than a century ago by Lou Eppinger it is great for Bass, larger Trout and more. Attache your line with a small snap to allow for a free-ranging wobble. Be sure to retrieve using a rod-tip twitch with brief pauses to promote an erotic darting action and avoid a steady reel.

This is a limited edition print! Perfect for any angler or outdoor enthusiast.

Created using the traditional printmaking technique of drypoint with Chine Cole (the red colour in the print is created by applying red Japanese paper to the inked plate) A little bit of white chalk is then used to add some highlights to the red.

Image area is 5" x 7" and the print comes matted for a standard frame size of 8" x 10".  Each print is signed by the artist and numbered in an edition of only 15.
